I was just wondering how many of the Kawasaki ATV's have Carb heaters to aid in cold weather starting?

 

Im not sure why they'd put these on, because I find I can start my 220 with ease after sitting for over a month in 20 or less degree temps. I just realease the compression and crank it a few times, release it again and then it fires right up with full choke.

 

Do any of the prairies have the carb heaters? I know that Most honda's have the carb heaters, that's why I was just wondering which Kawasakies (if any) had them.

 

I've got a buddy with a '98 Prairie 300 and it has the heater on it. I've got a '99 Prairie 300 4x4, but I am unsure whether it has one or not. I'll check and get back to you. I have a '95 220 Bayou and it doesn't have one nor do I think the other larger Bayous have one, either.

 

2000 Praire 300 has a carb heater.....I got one!
Starts great in any weather !
