#1
ok guys thanks for the help, this afternoon after work i put the stock tires on and did get better response from my brute but,.........still not getting what im spose to, saying 40 mph now.Im going to list all i have(known) so mabye you guys can get me in the right direction.
07 Brute Force 750
hmf exaust(dont know if carb has been jetted for this)
k&n airfilter(or this)
2 in lift
291/2 outlaw tires(currently not on)
when i put throttle to the quad it takes a short rev in rpm before it actually grabs and starts going, when i get up to current top speed, it seems to peak and then start backing off gradually, like it dont want to hold it. And with this stupid exhaust i cant really tell what the motor sounds like but, i lowerd my head and listened best i could and the is a slight ticking on left of motor, sounds fine on right. please send me some stuff i can do to just gradually check things as i can to find my problem thanks alot for all the help.

Pretty sure you have a CVT issue. If you do not have a repair manual, you may have to take it in to a shop.
I mentioned the K and N filter, you do not have to have a jetted carb for that, I have one on my stock bike. However, with the exhaust you really want to get it jetted to make the most difference in power. If it has not already been done. I really do not think that is any of your problem though.
I think that the big tires have smoked out the belt or clutch, do you know how long they have been on there?
If it is the belt it really should not cost that much.

awsome I do have a manual, not sure how long the tires have been on the bike I kinda bought it blind but if you knew what I paid for it it was a steal even if I had to do a motor rebuild it was worth what I paid just in mods, not even that, but thanks im ready to get her right, when I get back in town I will start looking at cvt. Whats a good heavy duty clutch I can get to support the 29.5 in tires?

CVT system mainly consists of converters (two sheaves per converter) and a belt. There isn't really a "clutch" in the CVT system (as in cars/trucks). However, there are aftermarket springs and belts that are claimed to be heavy-duty, but not for the converters which are the most expensive component of the CVT system.
