Question 300 BAYOU keeps shearing off my keyway! WHAT DID I DO???

ok the wheeler ran a min and died. While chasing down the no spark problem i decided to listen to an idiot and pull my flywheel for some reason? (not sure why) anyways we had no puller so he used a regular old 2 prong puller and tightend it a little, then a little more then a little more then POPPED all the way loose!!! now after i had figured the spark problem out i assembled the flywheel back on it and it sheared woodruff key off bought another from the dealer and snapped it again! So now i'm thinkin the flywheel may be warped? maybe even the starter sprocket? the flywheel will slide all way up on the shaft with no effort... Do i need to order new flywheel and sprocket or am i not installing it right? my book says "reverse of removal" no indication of special tools? and dealer says to lapp it in with valve compound? but it feels to loose for that???
WHAT DO I DO GUYS PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS FOR ME!!!

lapp it with valve grinding compound and reassemble with loctite.Make sure you tighten it to specs.i like a impact for this.lapping with valve grinding compound does work...lol
