I bought a 2000 Lakota 300 not running about a week ago. It has good spark, good compression, and is getting fuel. I have looked over everything obvious and I still can't get it to even try to start. I sprayed a little ether in the carb and cranked it over and nothing! Is there any kind of safety sensors or anything on these models that could prevent it from starting? I also checked the valve clearance and the timing and both are perfect.
