My friend's Kawasaki 400 isn't starting. It has sat full of fuel for a month or 2. It's got spark, the fuel is flowing from the tank to the carb but no fuel is getting to the cylinder. It fires with starting fluid, and when we took the drain screw out it no fuel drained. I'm thinking that the float may be stuck. Any other ideas? We tried taking the bowl off but those sweet little brass screws are made of butter and one got pretty chewed up. We'll have to drill it I suppose, unless there's some trick to getting this thing out with a chewed up screw head.
