Seems like it might be a little large for someone that age, with the limited info given.

You haven't told us anything about your riding experience. I wouldn't recommend starting on a BF. It's about the 4th most powerful behind Can-Ams 800 and 1000, Arctic Cats 1000, and Polaris' 850. While it would do all your asking I would recommend something smaller until you get some experience if you're just starting out. The Brute Force just started offering power steering last year. They introduced the 2012 BF with power steering early last year. See: Kawasaki Rolls out the Red Carpet | ATV Connection for my write up.

What size machines have you been on before? Another thing that can limit how big you want to go (especially on a utility machine) is your body size. It's really important to have enough weight to be able to lean into corners, etc. and have an effect on the quad.

ive ridden 650 im around 5ft 3" corners wont be a problem as we dont have trails like you do in over the pond so i wont be going very fast. ill be using for off road courses with thick mud and not many corners. thanks for your replyies

Well, take your time and get used to the machine if you gents get it. And remember, if you go and kill yourself, don't come crying to us. Just kidding. It's a great hobby and the utility machines are a great help when chore time comes.

I never had the space to get it up to top speed. I was over 60 at one point on the trail system they had us testing the machines on. I figure mid-60s???? Someone who owns one would have a better feel on the top speed than I got a chance to try.
