Default Help with Kawasaki and battery mess up

Can someone please help me/us. We have an older Kawasaki ATV 350 with a manual shift. It W A S running fine, until the battery went dead and my husband changed it out.....with the posts reversed!!! Positive cable to negative and negative to positive.....now it is alllll messed up
and will not start. Can anyone tell me what we can do, or how to
fix the problem, or even what problem was caused.

Husband is getting much older and having a little "thinking" issues. He musst have replaced at least 25 batters in this ATV alone, and all it takes is just once to do it in (I hope not though).

Will appreciate any good advise we can get!!!
Thanks,....gourdygirl!!!

Can you confirm your ATV model?
I can't seem to find/recognize if there were any 350 ATV that Kawi made.

Check for a blown fuse in the wiring harness. Hopefully that is all that it did
