Swen: You're right, there is not a lot of posts here compared to the others. However, those that post here are usually "regulars" and provide good info. if you have a prob. or question regarding your machine. Don't let that discourage you. You can't go wrong with a Kawi.. We all seem to love riding quads and having fun more so than bashing everything other than what they own. I guess this means many many fewer posts. JMHO! Good luck on your purchase with whatever you choose.

yeah, the bashing posts get a little old, it could start as someone saying they are going to get either a 400ex or scramber and need help, then usually it will get into something about how terrible they both are and to get a raptor or something,
are there other sites that deal alot with just kawasaki?, i am looking at getting some accessories, like a holder for some spare gas, something that will hook to the back rack, also, how is kawasaki for warranty stuff? with the 650 being new i may get the extended warrany to be safe, but if i get a pipe or different tires will they cover it, do they try to get out of covering stuff? as you can tell, i have never had a kawi,so this will be the first time

True, Swen, the Kawasaki forum appears relatively wrath-free, compared to others. Aside from the occasional poster offended because Kawasaki riders enjoy their rides ("get a real bike!"), little heat appears here.
Also, Kawasaki riders appear little inclined to infiltrate other brand forums to taunt others by bashing other brands.
If boasting and bashing are both symptoms of insecurity and feelings of inferiority, you needn't fear buying a Kawasaki, Swen!
Which forum is the most incendiary, among the various brands represented? Why is it the most belligerent? All brands, including that one, are ridden by many mature, intelligent, and reasonable customers, in addition to the zealots posting on the Forum.
Why another's choice in ATVs offends and threatens some puzzles me. Clearly, some consider purchase of a competitive brand a deliberate and personal insult. All ATVs have their own strengths and weaknesses. Mutual respect and tolerance, coupled with cooperation, may help save ATVing for everyone.
The ushers will now pass among you, to collect today's offering . . . I apologize for the sermon!

Yeah, i couldnt care less what someone else rides, actually i would rather they buy polaris because that might help my profit sharing J/K, i dont let brands fit into what i get, i just think the 650 looks the best for me right now so that is what i am getting, plus it is sort of fun to have something different from everyone else at work(Polaris), if we all have sportsmans, then we all go down the trail at the same speed, it adds a little competition into it, i do like their suspension though, one reason i am getting rid of my grizzly is the full 4x4 on the prairie,

Cool, Swen!
You think for yourself and act independent from "what others may think."
When you tell us about your Prairie 650, we'll get the straight word from someone competent to judge.
I hope you give us an evaluation soon!

Now yes I'm new here and to ATVs... but after seeing some pics of the new prairie 650, I'm a little bummed. I think the 400/300s look better. Little things like the gas gauge on the 400 makes a difference. It gives the ATV some style instead of the digital gas meter. Maybe if I saw a 650 I'd change my mind.

I like the full composite racks on the 400, they look nice, kawi is really trying to keep the weight down, i hope that doesnt affect the long term durability, other than the racks though doesnt it look pretty close to the 400, i guess i will have to see one in person
