Swen, I'll tell ya a couple of good places to look for items like you mention are Dennis Kirk and Cabela's. Warranties, as with any large co., can be a pain in the butt. Most only have a standard 6 month warranty. I imagine if you put a pipe on it, it will void it. I would double check though, the guys you buy it from may let it go. Have fun. As for the extended warranty, I would wait to see how the machine holds up. You can purchase the warranty anytime in the first 6 or 12 months (I forget). I have money down on the first one at my dealer. He’s hopefully getting both a red and a green one, and I get to choose. Which colour are you looking at?

 

Unfortunatly i get the 2nd one, so if they get in two , i get what the other guy doesnt want, but actually i think they both look good, if i was going to pick i think i would take red because the enclosed trailer i am getting is the same color,

 

As for the ****** block, it has many functions. I can think of two off hand. By connecting it to a stuck vehicle (or vice a versa} and putting the winch hook back on youre vehicle you increase pulling power. Also you can hook it to a strap on a branch overhead and lift lets say a deer you just shot up in the air so you can dress it.

 

so its just a pulley kind of? you hook it to a stuck atv, then wind the winch cable back to your own atv?
