Default Kfx450r Maintenance?

What does the kfx450r require for maintenance? As far as oil changes, air filters, stuff like that.

Good wishes to everyone,

The redesigned KFX450R features a lighter frame that's made from aluminum and an improved rear shock that's easier to adjust than previous models. The 2012 KFX450R has more power under the hood thanks to its engine that features four valves, four-strokes, 449 CC's plus an awesome fuel injection system that's 32-bits and can automatically compensate for changes in temperature or altitude for the location that you're riding it at. The redesigned engine also features a reverse gear that's lighter than previous models and a slick 5 speed transmission. Racing fans have called the 2012 Kawasaki 450R a "potent weapon" while weekend racing fans call it "cute" because, it offers the perfect blend of speed, flexibility and safety, but what's best of all is that it's easy for any owner to work on anywhere. It doesn't matter if you're working on your Kawasaki 450R at home or in your garage you will be able to easily make repairs yourself quickly without having to hire outside help.

Best Regards,
Anthony Martello

Default Go away

Anthony, aren't you the same guy that keeps posting in other areas about LED lights? Now all of a sudden you post a paragraph that was clearly written by Kawasaki and somehow you are trying to make us believe the words are yours. By the way, you have not answered the persons question! Please go away... I don't know what your angle is but stay away, Please!

Default Bump

bumping this see if anyone can help us newbies out lol, i know it depends on how you ride, say you ride pretty hard, what should you change out when you do maintenance or an oil change... anyone prefer a brand of oil over another in this bike? my old quad had spots to hit with a grease gun... does this bike have anywhere i should be greasing up before i head out for a ride?

one more question i have is about the oil window... what does that window actually tell you should it be all black or can it be showing halfway? if its showing halfway do i need more oil?

From my understanding, the maintenance is about what other 450s required. Which is oil change after 20h, regular valve maintenance etc.
