Default 300 kawasaki bayou lost fire

hello new to the group.
I recently started working on a 1987 kawasaki bayou 300 2x4 it was laid up for the past several years i dug it out and got to work on it it had no fire to begin but with another power pack got it back in no time, i then went thro the bike cleaned crab changed oil and few other things and had the bike running great starting every touch of the button. until i had it running the other day and went to change out battery the bike sputtered for a few seconds and died, since then the netural light in the dash will not come on and has no fire, even when the bike had power pack gone the netural light was comming on, would it be possible i blew something else by unhooking the battery?

If it was me I'd clean my cable connections at the battery and check for a ground wire you might have damaged or missed when you were messing with the battery.

Yes I have checked and cleaned all connections around battery, is there any other fuses other then the main one one the positive battery cable that might control that neutral light a guy once told me that if that light didn't come on there would be no spark

I was just out working at in again checking everything over and came to find that while spinning the bike over and slightly turning the key to the off position right before the key goes into the off position i get one spark in between the on and off positions. which isnt making sense to me.
