Smile kawasaki 700 v twin praire,2004

Hi! I was wondering if someone could give some advice. My Kawasaki 700 for some reason, seems like it wants to wander when i'm driving it. I have mud lite tires on it. When i hit the throttle and then release it, the whole back end wants to sway. Can someone tell me what to check! thanks bob hosie

What if you install oem stock or different tires than what you have now?

If other tires do the same weird thing, check the swing-arm pivot bearings (which is a genuine PIA to replace!). The bearing gets corroded/worn out very quickly if you do lots of mud or deep water riding because the swing-arm housing can hold lots of water inside and it gets to the pivot bearings.

Yep my first thought was to check that swingarm bearing too... Some will creak and pop loudly when you bounce up and down on the bike. Others will not make a sound. I'm betting that would be a good place to solve the problem.

I would however start by checking your front end to make sure its fairly well aligned. If its toed in or out it can make the bike a bit swirly at high speeds and on hard pack or concrete.
