Kawasaki V Twin 650 Brute nto starting after over heating
#1
I ran my Brute all winter to plow my driveway with no issues. At the beginning of summer I drove it down to the gas station, filled it up, then drove back to ny house. On the way back it started coughing smoke and stuttering. When I got it home it would stall out. I checked the coolant and there was none. I let it sit and cool. Once it was cooled I put coolant in it and attempted to start it. it woudl not turn over and all that happens is the oil light flashes on.
I was told that it may just be a sensor.
Before anyone thinks I am an idiot (I do know that I should have checked the fluids) it is not mine, but my fathers. I was borrowing it. I have never worked on one of these engines. If it was a car I would be good to go. Can someone please help? My father passed away last month and I would really like to get this quad running again.
