98' Bayou 220 starting problem/carb adjustment
I was given a 1998 Bayou 220 that has been sitting for a few years and didn't start. Replaced the carb due to the old one being too gunked up to clean. The battery was shot so I ordered one of them and will be here tomorrow.
Ive been using a jump pack to start it without a battery. Cranks fine, but only turns over when the e-start and throttle are pressed and you have to press them both for it to stay running. As soon as I release the e-start or throttle it turns off. I adjusted the air/fuel(?) screw on the outside of the carb and turned it in a few times. It helped a little and starts up a few time without the throttle but as soon as I release the e-start it shuts off. Any ideas?
Also, is there a proper way to adjust the carb?
