Default Best Kawaski engine

I'm Looking for some info on a Kawaski 400-650 engine with a CVT. Whats the best one in terms of performance and maint. cost. I would prefer a newer engine nothing older that 2010.

Default 400 cvt

I don't think they've made a 400 cvt since way before 2010. I guess that only leaves one option to look into.

Didn't they make a 500 and a 600 as well?

Go here and start searching by engine size and see what years/models come up.

All Kawasaki motors are reliable.

Kawasaki has a very limited line. They do not even make a mid bore case ATV.

They have a 300 and 366 small bore then jump to a 650 and 750 Big Bore.

They skip the entire mid bore class yet make two motors that are only 66cc and 100cc apart in the other two bore classes.

The closest they came was a Prairie 400 years back and a 400 is border line mid bore class. They just never entered the popular 500/550cc class like everyone else.
