2005 ksv700a (kfx) shall i buy?
Any info or advice on a 2005 kawasaki ksv700a (kfx)? It is $1500. no extras included. seems to be in decent shape but will need tires. I already have a 03 suzuki z400 and am looking for another atv for dad/friend. I wanted a clutch but see that this has none i believe. good buy? Pass and hold out for something else? or too good to pass up? any reason not to get?
Thanks for the advice.

I don't know what you're looking for in a quad but here are my thoughts.
The good:
No chain to screw with all the time.
Great in sand because of no chain.
Lots of power.
Very quick.
Lots of torque.
Super easy to ride.
Super fun to ride.
Good hill climber.
The bad:
Has K-Mart suspension from the factory.
Is heavier than a tank.
Small fuel tank.
No chain so you can't re-gear it.
Hard to adjust valves.
All in all I like my quad. Like I said, it's fun and easy to ride.

I could not have said it any better than Doctorturbo. Stock front shocks are very stiff and it is a gas pig. I bought my wife a 07, and I love it. While it is extremely heavy, it is a twin cylinder and is strong. This thing will turn on a dime and is great for tight trails. It is also great in the sand. A really worthwhile mod is to add TRX450R shocks to the front.
