Default Bayou 220 miss/cutting out

95 Bayou will fire right up but sounds like it's missing, has a "skip" to it.
Checked plug, cleaned carb and installed a new choke with cable.
Fires right up and runs fast.Seems to come in harder you run it but as you throttle down it misses and sounds like its going to cut off as it idles.
Any ideas on what it could be?

Just do what a guy told us to do on one we were selling. Told us the carb over flow had to be routed into the air box and had the rpm up to around 2000. Told us he would adjust it for us but the carb did not have a air/idle screw any ware...LOL

Guess ill have to check the valves never thought of that. have the same thing random miss at idle.

dont forget to check your float height, always something people forget.

My brothers 2004 250 Bayou would let out a little pop out the intake at idle (like very 10-15 seconds, it would die out on occasion), and it would pop out the exhaust a lot when you let off the throttle. I cleaned, and tuned the carb (didn't help), checked, and adjusted the valves all the popping went away.
