Default 110 mojave carb question

I bought a 110 Mojave for my son and I to fix up together. It is is very poor condition and is missing a lot of stuff. I am trying to get it started and noticed that above the fuel inlet port on the carb, there is another port there that has no hose on it. Does anyone know what this is supposed to attach to. The bike has no air box and just a slip on air filter. My thought is that the hose runs up to the air box or something.

The closer i look at this, I think it is going to be a long project. The choke cable is missing as well. I thought of buying an aftermarket carb that just has the choke lever on the carb. Any advice will be helpful as almost everything on the atv is in poor condition and will have to be fixed.
