On a 2000 prairie what oil goes in the drive shaft trans . Dealer told me Hotshot ? should that be thicker than 10w40

 

Drive shaft transmission?

Engine oil a 10w40 is ok. I use 5w40Rotella T 6 synthetic. I don't even think it is critical to use MC specific oil since there is no wet clutch.

Rear final drive I use 80-90wt gear oil
Front I use 140 wt gear oil.
