Moose - this is my friends 650 Max she bought last year - she loves it.
I love the colors too and the wheels look great.

Nice ATV. The wheels are different for sure.

If I remember right you can get different colored inserts for those rims. Kind of neat to be able to customize it so easily.

I've got to say I really like the 650. It reminds me of the BF 750 power-wise. I think they have just about identical power to weight ratios with a slightly better top speed on the Can-Am 650. But, unlike the 800 and 1000 Can-Ams you don't have nearly as much lift on the front end when accelerating. Easier in the corners where you don't have to worry as much about lightening the front end and losing your steering. I wish they put the 650 in a Renegade. That'd be nearly perfect.

So, after putting a few hundred miles on the BF how do you like it comparison-wise to your old Rubicon?

I like it tons

So far I see no need for either low range or a front locker.

Top speed isn't much on a BF - they actually have fairly low gears in the differentials.

I hit 78 mph on the 2012 Polaris 850 Touring I had with only 200 miles on it -
I'm sure I could have hit 80 mph once it was broken in.

At this point I see no need for speed - this is a trail machine.

Cool

I would get a blue BF like yours if I was in the market for a new one. I think Kawasaki still gets overlooked in ATV's.

So what is it that bugs you about decals? Reminds me of a neighbor who bought a new 91' F250 and he took the 4x4 decals off the bed, I asked him why and he just said because he wanted to. Not disagreeing with you, just wondering.

Specta likes the decals, just not on his quad. He has a nice jacket with all the decals on it. We tried to talk him out of it but he is set in his ways.

Just kidding.

Just watch out keeping it in high on slow steep hills, snow, or deep mud (something I didn't see at all out there). Low range will preserve the belt more than anything. The extra RPM's in low range help cool the belt too.

I think Kawasaki is over looked too. HUGE changes to the 750 BF in 2012. Its an awesome machine.

I took the 4x4 stickers off my 2011 Chevy too.

I think it looks a lot cleaner without them.

And people don't know what it is. LOL I get asked all the time.
