stalling

I have no idea if they are related. The high engagement point might really not be an issue. I should video the engagement point.
All the lights come on when it stalls. I just think it's weird that an EFI stalls on a hard stop. It always starts right back up.

My Kawie stalled today too. But it was at 10,700 feet on top of Bald Mountain Pass after I'd been full throttle for 20 minutes and then stopped to take a picture of the summit sign!
Pretty hard to jet a carb for 30 degrees and almost 11,000 feet and then have it work good everywhere else.

Nope.
I washed it today and changed the oil and filter (and the aluminum drain lug gasket - a MUST with every oil change). It should be good as new. WAIT!! It is NEW!! LOL
It stalls like its carbureted with a high fuel level in the carb but fires right back up.
I would think if anything the belt doesn't disengage enough or quick enough on a hard fast stop - but in all reality I have no idea.
On a long decel I get one loud backfire too. I sometimes think it's not shutting the fuel off when you're decelerating with the throttle closed. That should be a emission concern too for the manufacture seeing how it would put the hydrocarbons through the ceiling.
Oh well - I still have a few months before the warranty runs out.

I did reset the light
I changed the oil yesterday and reset the CVT light tonight. I should be good to go for another 1200 miles.
I might just see what the dealer wants to check the belt. I don't have much of a desire to do it myself.

So really the CVT light is better at being a oil change warring light the belt warring light.
I have changed belts at 2500 miles that still looked and ran like new, but since I was in there already with belt cover off, and the belt was only $75 I changed it anyways.
