I have changed belts at 2500 miles that still looked and ran like new, but since I was in there already with belt cover off, and the belt was only $75 I changed it anyways.

this was my 3rd oil change and I'll change it again at 1500 miles and every 500 miles after that.

Not sure when I'll inspect the belt or when I'll replace it.

I've gone farther than this on a Polaris without a belt issue so I'm sure this one is OK.
