I rode, or should I say drove, a 700 Rhino and driving "in" a machine sure is more confined of a feeling then riding "on" a Machine. If I like that I would just stay in the truck.

I actually like trail ridding on my mid chassis 350 better them my full chassis 500 because it,s so much more maneuverable and lighter in many conditions. Speeds sure does not matter on a 3 to10mph trail.
I don't care for SxSs either and that puts you and me in the minority.

We have close to 75,000 miles of roads/trails here in Utah that are ATV friendly and less than 20% are restricted to 50" or less.

If the smaller cc ATVs were experiencing huge sales numbers then that's what the manufactures would be building. 350 cc ATVs sit on the dealers floors here forever and that's if the dealers will even order one.

My BF is the funnest ATV I have ever ridden.

I can't say if I would like a side by side because I have never owned one. But yes, there are places they just can't go, like in the bed of your truck for instance. Or any building smaller than a one-car garage. Or a 4x8 trailer, or even 5x10 for a lot of them. Need at least a 6x12 trailer to haul most of them. Every dealer that sells side by sides should also sell utility trailers. How else will you get it home unless you bring your own trailer? The problem with a lot of side by sides besides being too big to fit on tight trails is that they have the same amount of power as a lot of atvs do with twice the weight. In order to equal the performance, you need a lot more power and that costs big bucks. A lot of these cost $20,000 or more. Even the used ones will bring $10,000 for something like a RZR XP 900 or Wildcat 1000. You can buy a nice big-bore atv used for under $5000, older ones even less.

I wouldn't buy anything less than a 550 out there, personally. Altitude where you are robs a lot of power.

My local Kawasaki dealer has a lot of Brute Force 300's on their sales floor. I think that one is a big seller. I think that's more a product of Kawasaki only offering the 300 or the Brute Force 750 as their only options. They were selling the 300 for $3500. If you want a 750, you need to more than double that. Many can't afford to spend $8000 for the 750. I'm in Illinois here, no mountains anywhere close to rob any power.

At 271cc the BF300 is even on the shy side to be called a 300. I think there is a large market for people who want to spend more then $3500 but less then $8000.

I think Honda sells more 420 ranchers ,500 Foremans and 500 Rubicons then 680 Rincons.

Why would anybody want a Rincon????

If Honda made a real ATV that was 700cc+ they would sell a ton of them.

That is true. I found it odd the Rancher and there big bore 680 Rincon were left out when Honda FINALLY at long last offered diff lock on their two 500s.

I agree with most of the replies stating that the BIG GREEN MACHINE is falling Way behind in the market for the mid sized engine quads. They do not even produce a friggin sports quad unless you are 4 trying to learn to ride..

Guess thats why I have so many different manufactures in my garage..
