I have a 2005 360 4x4 pri red light came "check belt" did so belt is fine but red light started blinking and rev limiter wont let it come up much past idle , near by shop said time up on computer and needs to be reset 1\2 hour .What I would like to know is there any way I can reset this myself

Yes....Nyrock has a lot of good repair info especially on Kawasaki machines.
I have used his site for years, you may have to do a little digging for your info but his info was always right on....

While your shopping you might want to take a look at the Kymco lineup, nice machines and they build much of the running gear used by Artic Cat! The Kymco line is about 20% less in cost for the same equipment with a longer warranty.

 

It worked .light is now out. I have had two kymco's but I like artic cat and I keep the kaw. for those who don't know how to ride . I use my quads for gold prospecting the cat has a better ride [62 years old] and it has room for my dog
