I have a 1991 Bayou 220 that I can't start wit electric start. I can start it with the pull rope. I changed the battery, starter, solenoid switch and relay. neutral light won't come on but reverse will. any advise?

"neutral light won't come on" That will be your problem, not certain about the 220 but the 300 has a complex "lock out" system involving an extra solenoid. If it doesn't think it is in neutral, it won't send power to the starter solenoid. Sending it to a mechanic would have been cheaper than changing all those parts.

Thanks for your help! The local Kawasaki shop charges $90 an hour. I changed all these parts for $71. I know it is still not fixed but try to fix it myself. Thanks again!!

Have you found out what's causing the issue?
