Woody 2017. Pyro here. Your float level adjustment in carb is too high, hence drowning piston in fuel.(dies)If you do not know how to adjust it, write me back and I will give you the correct measurement (float height) per my 220 service manual. What ambient temp are you trying at? Cold starting my 220 is nothing short of a bitch. If I use my choke @ all and try to give it fuel, it will stall unless completely warmed.

Remove your carb & remove 4 phillips screws @ the float bowl. Once the float bowl is removed, also remove the gasket as you are going to use this surface to place your tape measure. A vernier caliper would be better, if you own one.
From the top of the bowl surface, measure .860 to the top of the float.
That measurement is slightly under 13/16. Slightly means a gnat hair.
Hope this helps.
