Default 2003 bayou 250 Grinding/spinning

Hey guys, when I try to start my Bayou 250, I get a repeated clicking almost grinding sound from the solenoid and a spinning sound from the starter, but the engine will not start or even turn, any ideas
brake lights also not working.

-already removed and cleaned starter, lots left on brushes and springs working fine.
-sanded connections and ground on left side of motor.
-pull start, starts engine everytime.
Thanks in advance

Flat battery, or battery dead, get it load checked.

It is worth getting the battery load checked. A seized engine will also make the solenoid buzz but, as you can start on the pull start, it can't be that. If your battery checks out, try shorting across the solenoid, if the engine doesn't turn over then, your starter motor is seized.

I had a similar problem with my 300 Bayou. It would make a clicking noise when I would go to start it with the start button. I replaced the starter solenoid (really cheap on Amazon, about 10$) and it resolved the problem. Maybe this can help.
