Default no key ignition switch. bypassable?

  1. Thieves tried to steal my lakota sport and ripped out the key ignition switch. Is there any way I can replace it with a simple on/off switch? If so please help. Thanks

Yes, on my wiring diagram the key switch is shown as a two wire on off switch.

Welcome to the forums.

Rather than make it easier for them to steal next time, just get another switch. You'll spend close to that on a regular switch anyway.

Even better is to add a second switch well hidden on the bike. Even if they bypass the key switch the hidden switch will still not allow a connection.
