Default Drain or vent tube?

I've looked around the rear and have no clue where this line goes. The guy I got it from said it was hanging when he got it so that's no help.

Looking at the back ziptied to the frame on the right side is a clear tube with plenty of slack at the top to reach a number of places I just can't mail it down.

Being a clear tube it could be a carb overflow if you have a carb, or a battery overflow as most liquid cell batteries have an overflow tube to carry any overflow to the ground so it doesn't get on any frame members and cause corrosion. Most vent tubes I have seen are black rubber so my guess is a drain.

My vote would be battery overflow. It would be easy to trace to the source if so.

The machine model may help.

there is about 18 inches of slack above the top zip tie... i'm trying to locate the source it needs to be hooked to, there is no tracing it.

I posted it from my phone, thought i had it in there... 07 Prairie 360

Being a clear tube my guess is a drain tube, either from the carb or battery, so look at those two items. Check the bottom of the carb if this is a carb model and see if there is a drain from it. Then look at the battery, if it is a wet cell then see if there is a drain tube from it, normally hooks up under one end just under the top plate of the battery. If both of these have drains hooked up then you will need to hunt.

My 2000 prairie carb vents are only approx 1 foot long. My battery vent/drain looked like what you have but as stated, i no longer use mine because i went to an agm battery.
