I have a Kawasaki bayou 4×4, trying to figure out its year etc. I have no idea.
the number on the engine seems to read
LF300AE068062. Can't read the frame number very well as a rock or something has smacked it right at the 3rd digit but closest I see is maybe JKA-18C10LB511774 any help out there on this bad boy? Thank you.

 

Tenth letter of VIN code (L) should be the date. If this is right, 1990 is the year.

 

If the - counts then yes the L would be #10 if the - does not count then it would be #9. Please advize. Cliff

 

According to Cyclopedia it is N. B would be 1981 or 2011 anyway, both years that the KLF300 wasn't made.
