reverse knob?

Default reverse ****?

1999 bayou 220. I need a reverse **** or a way to make/bypass the **** so I can have reverse. I found the whole assembly for $60 but I only need the ****. Any ideas?

Assuming the shaft for the **** is there, just epoxy glue something onto it, can be anything round, bottle top, etc. Needs to be something the glue is going to stick to.

so I would need something that would stick to the white part,right? Be nice if I could find something to fit in the hole,but not sure what is shaped like that. Really old car radios maybe but I don't have any of them laying around.lol

Looking at it, I don't think epoxy would work, plastic shaft and broken too far down to stick well. A cable from a scrap bike, or using a "universal" type choke cable are probably your best options, if you don't want to pay for a new one. Universal cables may take quite a bit of adapting to fit, cutting inner and outer to length, making a bracket to fit it into the existing hole, etc.
