Default Prairie 400

2001 prairie 4000 4x4 rear wheels not pulling at all
what should I look at first

Not pulling, do you mean no power getting to the rear wheels?
I would remove the rear diff fill cap and take a peek. Fluid? Fluid look good? If you can see the gears, do they look good?

Pop off the belt cover and see what condition the cvt belt is in. Belt failure from age or abuse is common...

Belt cover removal is a pain on these. Have to remove running board and brake pedal. The brake pedal spring is not fun to reinstall. I drilled an access hole in the plastic to make removal of one belt cover bolt easier, the upper rear.

Maybe there is an easier way to remove the cover without removing the running board and the brake pedal. Actually, the most miserable part for me is installing the brake pedal spring during assembly.

If someone knows an easy way to install the spring let me know.
