They have not come out with a new sport quad in 14 years it is about time. If they introduced a new 2 strpke it would sell like hot cakes. Lets just hope they got somethin up their sleve.

 

not confirmed yet, but I think we will see that 650 twin go into a sport frame real soon. I think they will get it out there and see how it does, iron out the bugs and then make an announcement. I bet they already have a frame and everything ready to go. We'll just have to wait and see.

They always have the best one-offs or proto-types, but don't do anything with them. Did you see the 500 Ninja/Mojave thing they had built? It was in either Dirt Wheels or ATV Action. That would be too sweet.

 

I saw that article, it looked good, but had its flaws, I think they said something along the lines of "its great if you can keep the front wheels on the ground" I guess they thought it had too much power? I know, I know.. but thats what they said...

 

I don't think a two stroke quad would sell as well as a four stroke quad. Just think, how many years has it been since the companies have come out with a new two stroke? They come out with the raptors and DS650's. If kawi comes out with a new 4 stroke quad it would sell better. I want to see kawi come out with a 650 mojave or lakota. I was wondering what quad would win in a race a stock lakota or a stock mojave? This kid i know just bought a 2001 mojave and i want to race him.

stock mojave will beat a stock lakota. forget the DG grab bar and get a PRM. They actually fit like their supposed to.

 

You will lose to the Mojave. If you race it, please post the outcome though since you have some mods. I would really like to see Kaw come out with a whole new sport frame. The Mojave and Lakota are good frames but still quite heavy when compared to the other sport machines. They are a little to narrow and short too, in my opinion.

 

Redd888, I had a DG push bar on my Mojave, although it should fit a Lakota, I don't recomend it. They are around $85 and there isn't much to it. I think the AC push bars were the best looking (and cheapest too!! $55) but they discontinued them. I just ordered an Armadillo from RockymountainAtv yesterday for $75.
