2004 Kawasaki Bayou 300 4x4 blowing fuse
2004 Kawasaki Bayou 300 4x4 blowing fuse, had battery out, when I put back in and connected positive battery cable first, then connected the negative it, it was working ok before I removed battery, I have checked wiring and components connected to harness, I found with voltage regulator terminal with 5 wire disconnected it would not blow fuse, ordered a cheapo china replacement, and it still blows fuse, any recommendations

You almost certainly have put the battery in backwards and may now have blown both regulators and ignitor as well. Double check that the positive post is attached to the wire that goes to the solenoid, and that you didn't get polarity wrong when you charged the battery off the bike and have reversed the battery's polarity.

Are you sure the battery hasn't been charged backwards? Had someone else on here with their starter going round the wrong way, turned out they had managed to charge the battery backwards so pos post was neg and neg positive. It is just possible you have two bad regulators, they often short to earth, reg will still work if you insulate it from the frame, but blows the fuse if the case touches the frame. I have had lots of problems lately with Chinese regs on Hondas, not cheap eBay stuff either but supposedly "quality" RM stator aftermarket ones,
