Hello names Kent I have a 1986 Kawasaki bayou 300 just put brand new clutch plates in and new wet clutch and it is still slipping, I tried adjusting the one adjustment that it has many times and it is still slipping. Don't know what to do from here does anybody know what the problem might be ?

By "wet clutch" do you mean the centrifugal? Both clutches are "wet" on the KLF300. The wrong oil can make them slip, it should be for wet clutches but, if it has slipped since the rebuild, you may have assembled something wrongly, or not adjusted it properly before using it again and glazed the new plates. If you haven't changed the centrifugal, it may have been worn out (visible once the cover is removed) or glazed, thus the cause of the slipping in the first place.

Around here in Virginia, in 10/2021, those are selling for $1,000 to about $2,000, depending on condition. At least that's what I'm seeing. I recently purchased a 2008 Bayou 250 for $1,200. Runs great, but it is huge pain getting started for the first time of the day. After that, it runs great.
Yesterday, I bought a 2003 Lakota Sport 300 for $1500. Feels like a better buy, but BOY does it need shocks! I think the existing ones are frozen up. Seeking replacements, in case anyone knows of any that would work.
I hope this is the answer you were looking for.
