The previous owner lost the key. Replaced the ignition with a aftermarket one which let it start up one cycle. Spoke with a few people in the service industry that mentioned it’s common for aftermarket ignitions not to work because it sets something off to the cdi or something like that and needs to be an actual Kawasaki ignition. Anyone heard of issues like this happening?

carb just cleaned
oil changed
air filter changed

will turn over just not start.
