I'm thinking about getting a new sport quad and the mojave keeps catching my eye because I like the fact that its liquid cooled. How would you Mojave owners rate your machine compared to a 300ex or a warrior?

Thank you for your replies.

I've ridden the other two and ridden with guys that own the other two. The machines are all very comparable in terms of performance with the Mojave falling right in the middle. The big differance is that you save $$$$$ with the Mojave. With a jet kit and filter and a 13 tooth front sprocket it is faster than the warrior also. Not bad seeing as you saved about a grand and it only takes $120 or so to beat it. Don't get me wrong they are all proven machines. I just personally would rather have the liquid cooled engine. It seems that all non Mojave owners try to knock it because it's kick start. I have no problem with the kick start. If this is of concern to you, there is an electric start kit for it for like $400. I've had mine since Jan 2000 with no problems.

My Mojave: 2000 w/K&N filter and Jet Kit,13 tooth front 41 tooth rear,Douglas .190 wheels Shredders in the rear and Front Max for steering,Maier Handgaurds, Armadillo bumper and Swing arm skid plate, Kawasaki shock covers on all.

I chose the mojave over the other two machines and liked it so much that i bought two more of them. It is a great quad and outperforms the 300 exs that i ride with. But the 300ex is a good machine too, the mojave just has more features and is higher tech for less money. Except for elect start which i don't like anyway.

I had a 250X before I bought my Mojave and I like my Mojave better. The Mojave is a little disconcerting when you ride it because it revs so high. The Mojave makes good power but does feel a little soft on the bottom. My 250X had better grunt. For hill climbing and riding through snow the Mojave does better since the power comes on in the upper revs right where you want it. I personally feel the Mojave is the most underrated sport quad out there.

Mojave is most bang for the buck compared to the other two. It responds well to pipes and air filter mods as it has 4 valves vs 2 on the competition. My next choice would be the raptor.
