Anyone buy works shocks for their mojave. I mostly do woods riding, jumps and hill climb. I want something that soaks up the small bumps better than stock, but doesnt bottom on the jumps as often as stock.

 

The works should do just what you expect. Soak up small stuff and not bottom out. I have two mojaves with works shocks. One lesson i learned is to buy them directly from works so that you know they are set up for you and your mo. Do not get a steeler rear shock. It is for light recreation and not jumping. Get a quadstar (I think is what its called) for the rear and steelers for the front. I have dual rates on the front of one mo and triple rates on the other. The duals are better than the triples.

 

Hey zippy....I have a works performance Ultracross rear shock for sale. It only has threaded preload and it comes with shock covers. I have about 8 rides on it. You interested??
