New Mojave Swingarm!!!!!!!!
#1
For those of use Mojave freaks who have grown tired of the lack of aftermarket stuff, I have some news!!!!!
My Sponsor, IdahoATV has build a prototype swingarm, +3.5", made from 4130 chromoly. It uses a 250R, PEP ZPS rear shock from a CR500 nolink setup. I should have around 12"-14" of travel!! I'm installing it tonight. It has a chain slide, so you don't have to worry about the chain getting snagged.
These swingarms will be availible to the public in the future. Would anyone be interested in hearing more about the test of this swingarm?? I'm excited.

Lurch-
I have a question for you. Why? It seems like you are putting alot of money in to your mojave. You would proably be better off racing another quad becuase you could be more competitive. THis is just my opioion and i am not bashing your quad. it seems like a pretty bad *** quad. Suprised kawi didnt think of a set up like that swingarm for the 410 mojave todd used to race.

Mxer, this is the deal. When I raced the GNC opener in Macon, I did fairly well, until I crashed. I got blindsided by someone who couldn't handle his quad. That's another story. The point is, in the 4-stroke C class I finished 10th out of 15 in my qualifier, even after I crashed. I was running about 6th or 7th when I crashed. My motor is a stock 250. No bad in my opinion.
I love Kawasaki. I always have. The reason I run #11 is because Jackie Meadows ran #11 for Kawi support in the 80's. The company who is fabricating the components for me feels the same way about the Mojave. This is a test for him. He's building an ULTRA-TRICK set of +3 +2 control arms right now to go along with the rear that will also be using 250R shocks. From pivot point to pivot point, my Mojave will have the same measurements as a 250R chassis. PLUS, as soon as I can save up for it, or find a sponsor to help with it, Mickey Dunlop(FST) is putting the same 411cc kit on my Mo as Todd ran on his. This is going to be one bad friggin Mojave. IdahoATV wants to find out that if the chassis is right and the motor is strong, can a Mojave be competitive with the 400EX's and raptors at the GNC. I've beat them both locally, so we will see.
UPDATE!!! I installed the swingarm and PEP ZPS shock last night. SWEET!!! I need to get a braided steel brake like 3.5" longer than stock. Every thing bolted on perfectly. I can't wait to ride it. Durablue has my axle right now straightening it. Then I have to replace my kickstart gear....THEN I'm gong to ride it.
I'll keep you updated! PLUS...I'll try to have some pics posted of it soon, if IdahoATV doesn't mind. I will be at Loretta Lynn's in August. If I can't post pics, come see it there!
