Hi,
Right now i'm saving up for a raptor, but for my sencond quad I want a KVF650 4X4 to be it. I was wondering if anybody has any info about it yet such as:

1. Is it out yet and if not when is it coming out?

2. How much will it cost?

3. How much stock speed and horsepower does it put out?

4. Is it going to be fully automatic?

5. Is it going to full time 4-wheel drive?

6. How is the handling?

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Bike is awsome. Had mine doing 99 km still breaking in.Can select 2 wheel drive. Can select 4 wheel lock up.Ride is great and she handles a lot better than my Grizzly.Fully automatic. The price is comparable to most of the other bikes in this catgory.Mouting winch and bumbers are a pain in the *** though

1. yes it is out
2. 6999, or 6899 with factory to dealer incentive
3. rumored 65 mph and 43 horses
4. yes, fully auto, reverse override
5. toggle switch to 2x4-4x4.. once in 4x4 l/s is used... then at the pull of a lever on the right hand brake... locked 4x4
6 handling... is differnet with all ppl... i think is doesnt handle as well as my sp500 but the closest thing to it.. yes better than ruby

What kind of gas mileage is the 650 Prairie getting?¿? A machine that runs two 32mm carbs and has a 4.5 gallon gas tank doesn't sound the most fuel efficient.

Gas milege ha who cares about gas milege ride it and you will see. I can pull a drum with gas and still out run every other 4x4 out there. All you have to do is ride it and you will see i got mine Saturday and am still in brake in and it is bad. There is no other 4x4 that will run with it I had a 400 polaris explorer before and that was fast but nothing like this. It is almost like it had too much power you will never need low the tourqe is amazing. I cant hardley sleep at night because I want to ride it all the time. I couldn't risest the urge I had to see what it would do on the longest stright away I had 60+ is not a problem it was still climbing when I let off at 59 and it dosent take long to get there. Just one word to help all of you other 650 buyers HOLD ON!!!!

120km is just under 70 mph. I've been hearing mileage fiqures of 8-10 miles per gallon. But I didn't know how reliable these people are. Could have been just another case of brand bashing. 70 miles per tank is pretty good, because mileage does matter. You can be the fastest in the pack of the big utilities wheelers. But the ones with the better mileage will blow by you while your filling up on the trail with the cans of gas you will have to carry. I fiqured the 650 would have some awesome torque. That's one thing nice about V Twins engines. Just ask any Harley owner. Enjoy your new wheelers everyone. The same goes for the ones riding older ones too..

Bobbbb,
What was your price out the door. Here in Southwestern Ontario
at my local dealer not one has showed up yet. I'm anxious to test
ride one. Pictures just don't cut it. Looking forward to riding
this beast...
