I’m glad to hear that the 650 was well worth the wait. I’m going to have go and check it out, since I now need to replace my Bayou. Anybody ridden with a Sportsman 500 HO, I’d like to see an article comparing all the big boys.

 

c77dig, my previous 4x4 was a polaris 400 too. And the 650 blows it away. There is no need for the low range. I'm still breaking in the motor and keeping it under half throttle, but I'm still able to do 40mph at half throttle. I didn't buy it for speed, but it sure is nice to be able to go fast too! If I was concerned about gas milege, then I'd have bought one of those 250cc 4x4 quads. In my opionion, the 500ho has a softer rear suspension. But the 650 has better handling, especially at higher speeds. The explorer 400 and the ruby suspensions don't even compare to the 650. But that's just my opinion.

 

Yeah I am totally amazed with the performance of the 650. The ride it good and the power is awsome. I think the only thing bad about the 4 wheeler is that I dont have enough time to ride it. As for the milege I rode almost all day Sunday and on the guage only lost 1 bar so that is not bad to me. Another good thing about the bike is that it is pretty easy to keep clean no real tight spots for mud to clog up and hide like my old 400. I will be ridding this weekend with a buddy with a sportsman HO and we will just see who have the title of king of the 4x4's. I know I will out run but the other catagories are the ones that really matter so I will let you all know how the 650 fares aganst the current King or may i say previous king.
