Kawi needs a new 4 stroke Tecate4!
#1
I think Kawi would sell tons of quads. They need a Tecate4 replica, a little wider, same plastic, 450-550 cc 4 stroke motor, electric start and water cooled. The Tecate4 is sooooo popular, they need to bring it back just the way it was with the changes I mentioned above. That is still the most exotic ATV ever, even at today's standards. I have'nt heard anything, but I hope Kawi has a new sport bike in the works. God I prey, it is not another Mojove jazzed up. In my opinion, the Mojave is one of the ugliest bikes out there. The T4 was one wicked looking bike, and still is.

You guys who are wishing for a new two stroke are not going to see it happen. Because of strict EPA laws, all the major manufacturers are going to 4 stroke power in thier atv's. Honda has already announced they will no longer produce atv's with 2 stroke motors, I think the others will do the same.
Personally, I would rather see a bigger CC 4 stroke in the new bike. I think they are more user friendly, and have no major maintenance that you have to deal with. I have heard tons of stories like: "I've rode 4 years on my 250r and never had to rebuild it", but normally that is not the case (if you wnat to keep the power level up). A 4 stroke on the other hand will go 8 - 10 - 15 years with no motor work. I like my Tecate4, but when I hit the starter button on my 400ex, I never have to wonder if it will start! No matter what I hear on this board, nobody will ever convince me that 2 strokes are as reliable as a 4 stroke. I love my 2 stroke, but when I have to choose between a kickstarter, and a button, or having to choose between picking up a wrench or picking up my helmet.....I will choose picking up the helmet, and the electric start every time. I must be getting old! HEHE LOL
