Ok You should start off with a pipe and jet kit, and air filter. New tires help alot. Cams will help alot. If you want your handling get a new axle and works shocks.

For an air-filter get rid of your airbox and out a Uni-Pod right on the back of your carb. I did this to my quads and they ran better and gained a little more low-end-mid, also on one quad made it feel like I added a gear. Also, get a pipe, and make sure not to get a DG, they suck. UMMMMM, go to Golden West Cycle and they have performance kits, that might be worth it. Also I have beaten a 400EX on my stocj mojave, except for filter. But this is because I am a very good rider, and apprently he wasn't.

See my mods below, I can stay with 400exs in the woods and some tracks but to be alot faster it would probably take a big bore kit and thats around $2000.

jeffksf3, I saw that you have bandits on your Mojave. I have looked at those to put on my Lakota. How do you like them? Have you had them in the sand? I am also considering Razors or Shredders but right now I'm up in the air on what tires to get. I think I am wanting 20" in the rear and 21" in the front and go up 1 tooth on the counter shaft.
