freakystone-where are you buying your quads from? I could probably shoot some business their way-A 400ex is selling for 5700 around here. Please give me a number. Thanks

After I installed my Supertrapp (8 discs) and K&N air filter the additional power was very noticeable. It pulls the front end up in all gears (powershifting). Just remember the Mojave likes to be revved, thats were the most power is. As for rocky hill climbing check old threads on Sandown rides and you'll see some of the hills I climbed. I hung with the big boys (4x4's), also I weigh 250lbs. No complaints from me except that sometimes I am looking for another gear above 5th.

I've also had good luck with my Mojave. Two weeks ago I got the opportunity to ride a brand new 2001 400EX while we were out at the lake. I was not impressed with the 400EX, I expected a lot more power but it felt almost identical power wise, the Mojave gets through the gears faster too it seems (different ratios obviously). I'm sure with a pipe and a few other mods the power would be very close to the 400's and with a big bore kit like the 330 or 350 it would probably be great!

Not to throw any water on anyone in paticular , but I noted "I ride better than average" a few too many times in the above posts. In a national survey 96% of people surveyed considered themselves better than average drivers, that means 46% are lying to themselves it's just that simple, are you one of the 46%?

Well MXRacer im sorry to say but our buddy lurch didnt have good luck at tennessee he ended up with an ambulance, bent a-arms which were brand new prototypes and not being able to ride for 6 weeks, during practice he took a little spill and couldnt race. Lets just hope he will be ok. I dont know about the 330 kit but i know that it is sweet, rips on a track and is highly recomended by the lurch himself

I wouldnt recommend the stroker because they repostion the rod closer to the piston and fill the old gap with cork, I think. and the rod hits the side of the piston everytime its goes up and down. Now the cams I recommend to everyone it really woke up my Mojave and its not expensive like $300 for springs and cams and it beats piped 400's now.
