650 Seat Problem
#4
Just make sure to get the middle tab in by pushing down on the front of the seat while sliding it forward. I was putting mine on thinking that both tabs at the front were in but the middle one was not. Then just smack the rear of the seat and it should latch. If not I would see your dealer.

If you get tired of trying to get the middle latch to engage the hoop, you can just cut if off. I had to cut mine off because I mounted a hard box on the rear rack which makes it impossible to slide the seat back enough to catch the middle tab. For a couple of weeks the middle tab was just sitting on the top of the metal hoop. Once I cut it off is works fine and I can't tell any difference in the stability of the seat when the front and rear is properly latched.......
