Whats a good filter for the Mojave? The stock air box seems very restrictive, are there any good mods for this? I dont ride in a wet climate or standing water, mostly desert and dunes.

Try a K&N clamp on air filter, with an outerwear. I know that lurch has one, so he should know which size.

well anyway i live in the desert and also though about takeing the air box out but if youll just get the k@n filter for the stock loctaion i think it will be bettter for this climate.. i changed my mind yesterday when i went on my first ride in more than two months after my cliff jump and broken back ....anyway the silt i went thru would have clooged up the outterwear in seconds flat and it would have been a not so great deal .... its just two dirty of a climate and the dust is to fine. ive got a friend who has a moded box and he carrys two filters for one long ride.. its just to dusty..
