Don't waste your money on any other quad! The 650 is mighty quick, handles well, the ride is second to none, it has all the features, fit and finish, etc. This machine has been well researched and you will be thrilled with the end result...power!

I also have the 650 Prairie, with 600 miles and I love it. I have had no problems, except for runnig hot once. Just had to clean the radiator, its been fine ever since. We run in a lot of mud!
I had a 300ex sport quad that I traded in for the Prairie. I don,t regret it at all. The 650 can do anything a sport quad can do and more!

My regret is not buying it first! I traded in a Honda Rubicon with 300 hundred miles on it. I took about a 2000.00 hit trading it in. I love this thing. After riding a 250r and a banshee this thing it awesome. It jumps, go's through water like a sub, and just plain eats the mud up. It handles good enough to fly though the woods. I love the front differential handle, it's so easy to grab when you need it. I love the 4X2 selector. Put in it 2 wheel drive and you can powerslide though any trail. 4wheel drive then have good luck finding anything to stop you. Love it and would recomend it to everyone.

I love my 650 but I must say that Kawi does a poor job distributing parts in a timely fashion. I have had a long history of instances of having to wait for them to ship parts on the slow boat from who knows where.
In the same breath however I also believe that they really put their all into turning out a quality product which is why I endure the wait when necessary.
Still waiting for redesigned choke cable to come in

My dealer told me that the cable is too short. It causes the bike to run rich.

the problem with the choke cable is where it splits from one choke cable to two choke cables. it has a tendency to get jammed.

Hoy much did yall pay for your 650's. If I can find a good deal on one(About 5500 new, 5000 used) and have the money, I would definately buy one since it seems as good for the riding I do as the Wolverine I currently own. They(650 and Wolv) seem to be aimed at the same market segment, only on different parts(Prarie 650: Top end & top dollar, Wolverine 350 : Mid range, mid price). If I ever get enough money to buy a quad and decide on a 4x4 instead of a sport quad, (new suzuki is looking mighty appealing) the prarie 650 woud be top of my list, after that a Grizz 660 then another Wolverine. I can't help it if I love my Wolverine.
