your cc will remain the same although your horse power and speed will increase.
If you go to the bottom of this page, click on atv magazine, then go to the top right and type in lakota. Here is were the magazine has done all the mods you just asked about.
As far as the super-trap pipe....it's called a IDS2 and it's at rocky mountain atv $199
I have ordered all the mods you have just spoke of. All I got in so far is the air filter and 13T sprocket.
I went on a spree checking out the sprocket, and wrote quite a bit about it.
Go to the top right I believe and put your setting for view topics for how many days at 5. You will find a thread called the lakotas 13T sprocket (or something like that)
But go look at what the magazine has to say. They even have pictures and that.
Good Luck.................

so are you saying it is a good idea to put a 13 tooth front sproket on the lakota with all of the mod's? and is it worth the money to get a k&n air filter or not? and a question out of the blue does eny one have a pic of thier lakota? o ya and one more thing what is this i hear about a 500 twin kawi? it must be the same as the 650 v-twin right, but then it won't be any good unless they make a wheight loss program for atvs becues all kawi atvs are all ready way to heavy! but hey thanxs for all the help!

My opinion:
I love the 13T sprocket. I first had my doubts, but realy I took this thing every weres.
I can feel a slight power loss (stalk bike now) when I power shift to second gear, but it still pulls the front well off the ground. When I wheelied before I had to short shift, as a matter of fact I felt I had to short shift for every thing.
The speed is in the top end. You will notice you go alot faster in fith. Try running your gears out and when you hit the top of forth and all the way through fith thiers nothing thier.
With the sprocket on you feel the pull all the way through fith and the top speed is quite faster.
I'm 6' 1" 230lbs and it takes the bike all it has to pull Like I want it to be. The gears are much longer to ride out and have much more speed to them.
I did this all stalk. I have a jet kit and super-trap pipe coming in this week, I hope. And with these it should give me the throttle response that the lakota lacks.
I believe the 13T sprocket is a must for the lakota. The only thing poeple won't like about it is if you keep your bike stalk it will show the motors lack of power.
As far as the K&N filter, I have one in my bike and had one in every bike I have owned in my life. Some will tell you this or that but I have had very good luck with them and have no reason to change.
I bought the pipe, jet kit, 13T sprocket and K&N air filter from rocky mountain atv for $308 bucks. And this included a extra ten bucks because I had it shipped in two different shipments.
Now with all that I'm doing I still don't have four thousand in the bike.
Try the sprocket it only cost $6.99
