650 belt deflection question

extremelean, I believe this is what happened to me. When appling 12v directly to the servo should I ground the black and power to the red or power to both red and black. Also can I do this with the cover on? Thanks.

the 2 wires "to the actuator",BLACK & RED....does not matter which one you hook positive & negative to,Its just a DC motor that will change direction when you change the polarity.
The CVT cover needs to be removed when you do this so you can watch the KEBC forks return to a fully seated position against the inside of the cover.

extremelean, Thanks a bunch for your help, I couldnt figure out what I had done.By the way, will this stop the lights from flashing?

try it for a test unplug the kebc and make a run.
