The Mojave is faster than both. A friend of mine has a 250x and when our bikes were stock (as well as now), my Mojave would beat it. Now he has a pipe, filter, cam, ported and polished head, jetted, and sprocket change and we are pretty close with me edgeing him out on top.

You don't need a pipe to wheelie-give it a little gas a let go of the clutch-you'll figure it out real quick. It takes a little practice, but you'll soon be riding as far as you want on the back tires. But, if you have your heart set on a pipe-IDS2-make sure to rejet or you'll be wasting your $.

My friend has a 250x with a wiseco piston, smaller tires and is geared up, FMF pipe, uni filter, DG jet kit.. and all the good lookin stuff. I have a mojave with a supertrapp IDS2 exhaust, K&N jet kit/filter. I can SMOKE him off the line and kill him through all 5 gears, but he has some MEAN top speed. after i'm in front for the whole race and laughin, he'll FLY by me after bought 1/4 mile, maybe more. another kid has a 250ex. It can't compete and in my opinion, sucks!
